If I tell my students how they should perform, but do not guide them by my words and my example, I have become only a blaring brass instrument or a nagging, noisy lecturer to their ears . . . 博客王)Qa$?;PYZvrY

y2Kh1M2? y/]0If I could foresee what they can become and even know the very plan of God for them and have absolute faith that it could happen, but fail to give them loving encouragement to meet each day's challenges and frustrations, then my knowledge is useless . . .

If I sacrifice every earthly possession for my students. Yes, even lay down my life for them in some dramatic way, yet fail to show sacrificial love in the ordinary circumstances of life, then those actions are empty....

This teacher's love of which I speak is slow to lose patience, even in the most trying circumstances.

It does not "use" students to live out its own dreams or to carry out its orders, but treats them with respect, for they are important people too.

F(w6^ mcx0Teacher's love is not touchy: It is not easily provoked, and realizes that sometimes students will show their immaturity.

It does not keep a mental record of wrongs committed or say to students, "I told you so."博客王&R1P\;l~T:C2Y

Rather, teacher's love encourages students by praising their efforts.

2R;Q%F&lnD~:[W0Teacher's love doesn't blow up and say, "I've had enough!" It believes the best, saying to the students, "Try, I believe you can!"

Students respond in amazing ways to a teacher's love, sometimes not outwardly, but that love and trust and respect performs an inner transformation that lasts for a lifetime.
